Okay. So by now we should have a beautiful board on Pinterest of all the brands that you like to consume. And I bet that if you look at them, there'll be a common thread throughout. Yeah? Thought so.
So the next thing that we are going to be working on are brand values. So I can already hear you saying "well what are brand values?". Brand values are everything to a business. We spoke before about the things that you can feel, that you can see, that you can touch. That is really the brand values, and brand values are delivered by people. So we see a brand, but actually it's the values that we connect to, therefore it's the people behind the brand that we're really connecting into. We all have these values inside of us.
On this page, there's an amazing workbook download. So I want you to grab a pen and print the download, because it's time to start to think. But, before you do I have got a fun task for you to do.
So, as an example of "what are brand values?" I want you to think about the BEESPACE brand values. If you're here with me now, the chances are you know about my business, you know about my brand and it represents to you in a certain way. So to give you a clue, there's three BEESPACE brand values. So let's take a moment, grab a pen and jot down what you think the brand values are.
Okay. So the BEESPACE brand values, here we go. There's three main ones and they are to challenge perceptions. So I want to challenge perception in the property industry. Okay. I want to show people that there is a better way to do things. The second one is to be original. I'm totally motivated by being a pioneer, by being original. The third one is to think differently. I see being a business owner and being a property developer as a massive, massive privilege, a huge privilege. So I want to think differently. I want to think out of the box, that's what excites me and motivates me. And that is what I'm known for. And if you think about that, I write it all over my own properties, like in big vinyls, be original, think differently, you know, that's, that's my driving force of the BEESPACE brand.
When a brand is done correctly, we can see a brand before we even know it's them. And that's because we see and feel the brand values that that brand is giving out to us, is telling us.
So, take a moment, download the workbook and get thinking about how your brand, how you want your brand to be seen to the outside world. What are the things that really motivate you? That you're proud of? Some examples, maybe, you know, integrity, honesty, being design-led, being creative and for the non-creative types that might be sat there thinking, "Oh, I'm just so uncomfortable with this!". Believe me, brand values they are in us all, we just have to take that moment. We just have to dig deep. We have to find that thing that, what is the thing that really excites me about this gorgeous business that I'm building?
So take some time, please don't rush it because this is so important because everything we do from this point is built on these brand values and come back to me when you're ready for the next step.

Let’s think really hard about how you want your brand to be seen to the outside world. What are the things that really motivate you? What are you proud of? So by now, you should be really thinking about your brand values. And it may be a case that you're thinking "I'm not quite sure what type of words I should be looking for to describe the way I want my business to be."
So in front of us now we have some really good examples of the type of words that you should be kind of thinking about that, that should be really coming to you and that you should be connecting with at this stage. So what I'm going to do is just quickly run over them. Um, obviously if there's any that really stand out to you and you think, "yes, that's me, that's my business!" Then please write them down. Okay.
So these are done in no particular order. They're just there to kind of inspire you and make you think. So. Edgy, soft, openness, integrity, disruptive, bold, punchy energy premium, soft honesty, community, fresh, calm, stylish, sincere, strong, fun, clarity, warmth, happy times. Good vibes, safe collaborations. Authentic balance and homely.
So a really good selection of different describing words that you could really lean to, to create your brand values.

Before we wrap up the Brand Values section, we just want to reiterate how integral your brand values are to your business. What's really important at this stage is that when you look down on your paper in front of you, at the set of words or phrases that you've decided are your brand values, it's so important that you feel passionate about them, that you feel motivated by them.
Because in real life, if you go to meet an investor, if you go and speak at an event or you're on social media talking to your audience, these are the things that you're going to be known for to the world. So it's so important that you feel passionate about them.
So if you do, I'm so happy for you because this is the beginning of the magic happening.
