Soon after stepping into the property industry, and particularly after attending many of the 'industry-leading' networking events at the time, Jade McNeil quickly realised that the world of property development was an extremely male-dominated one (and very outdated too!)

Female property developers weren't being championed, and were barely even visible in the industry at all, with only a handful of women doing property on social media at the time. There was no defining community to tap into, and finding helpful, trusted, and genuine content to learn from was a struggle - and Jade wanted to change that.

How it began.

Jade dreamt of creating an all-female space, designed especially for property developers. Where members could freely come, support each other, and learn from trusted resources. Something she wished had existed when she was just starting out, instead of wasting hours trawling through Youtube videos and attending cheesy conferences!

As a mother of two herself, and knowing first-hand the struggles (and juggles!) of being a female in property; looking after children, elderly relatives, running a home, multiple jobs, battling hormones etc, Jade knew there was a much better approach to building a property business – one that was kinder, and more accessible to women.

She put all of her efforts into collating everything she had learnt over the years (the good, the bad, and the ugly) about property, running a business, being self-employed, design, interiors, and branding, and started to work on creating The Hive Members Club and it's contents.

How it's going.

Today, five months after launch, The Hive Members Club is a thriving online membership platform and community, and we're proud to be actively helping women from all over the UK (and Europe too!) to either build their property business or get started in the industry. It's what we set out to do when we launched the Club, and it's incredible to see it working its magic amongst our members.

Women of all levels of experience, and all property strategies, are welcome to join the Club and to become a part of our supportive and vibrant community.



We have women in The Hive who are doing HMOs, SA's, BTL's, and some that are just building up their knowledge and planning their first move. This vibrant mix of experience-levels makes for such an amazing and solid peer support-network, with members regularly reaching out to help each other in their specialised fields.

What do we have to offer?

Our Club largely centres around our digital membership platform, where we host an abundance of live, recorded, and downloadable content – all based around relevant property, brand, and business topics. We love collaborating with others in the industry (especially other women where we can!) to share their knowledge and experiences with our members.

We also have a buzzing community over on our private Slack channel, and we’re passionate about bringing our membership into the ‘real-world’ too with regular in-person events - with no stuffy hotel conference rooms in sight!

Our events are for women, and designed by women – as we know best what makes for a good experience, and we understand how women think and learn. We aim to create thoughtful, comfortable, and valuable events that feel 'good' and that our members feel inspired by.

She has taught these fundamental principles to many of her mentoring clients over the years. But in particular, she has put everything into digitising her Branding & Design process so that she can offer it to as many female property developers as possible via The Hive.

The interactive Branding & Design Programme is an extensive online programme that guides our members through the brand creation process, in a really cool and hands-on way. We are SO incredibly proud of the feature, and our members love it too! We regularly check-in with their progress and we can't wait to see the amazing brands that come out of it - we know it's going to positively impact the property industry and consequently improve the standards of properties out there.

Simply put, we're redesigning the property industry one woman at a time!

In short, our mission at The Hive is to encourage as many women, from all backgrounds and experience levels, to confidently step into the property industry, and see it as a way to grow wealth and security for future generations.

It sounds simple, but we have a lot of work to do to encourage and empower women, and shift the culture of our industry - but rest assured, we are passionate and determined!
