You might remember when we featured the fabulous Laura Ackers back in February, highlighting her incredible debut HMO property and how she found the whole experience (you can read it here if you missed it).

Since that post, Laura has truly thrown herself into achieving some substantial milestones in her business this year. And now, we're thrilled to bring you up to speed on what she's been up to.

A few months ago, Laura made the big leap to rebrand her property business, Haus Property. Through dedication and determination, she is now the proud owner of a beautiful brand that works to set her apart in the property market.

Mastering the Branding and Design Programme

Laura began her branding journey by fully embracing her Hive membership and making good use of our online interactive branding and design programme, exclusively available to The Hive Members Club members.

Our interactive, step-by-step guide simplifies the initial process of creating and developing a brand, and helps members understand how to translate a brand 'look' into cohesive interior schemes – no matter what your strategy and style.

Having completed the programme, Laura then chose to work with Jade at Beespace at a 1-2-1 level to polish her brand's unique personality, and define the USPs of the Haus business.

Working with Jade, Laura not only gained confidence in her brand but also broadened her knowledge of HMOs at the same time. Her first HMO was a breathtaking and cohesive space, rented out instantly, and unlike any first-time HMO project we've ever seen. Fast forward to today; and Laura's now producing top-quality HMOs faster than anyone we know!

Visual Identity Brought to Life by Raw Clay

But what's a brand vision without a digital visual identity to go with it?

With Raw Clay's magic touch, the Haus brand was brought to life - harmoniously blending Laura's personal identity, her interior style, and aspirations for her business. The outcome showcases Laura's creative journey and the calming and modern spaces she wants to bring to life.

When we see the Haus branding now, it feels just like a warm and comforting hug – and we think this sums up how her tenants must feel in Laura's spaces too.

Key Inspirations Behind the Haus Brand

When going through the branding process and uncovering her USPs, Laura envisioned that her Haus brand would represent four fundamental themes and values:

Here's what Laura says about the branding process and why it was important to the growth of her business:

"For me, I needed to have a brand to keep myself on track design-wise, to communicate what I'm about with my customers in a clear way, and to have a consistent identity. For me, branding is well worth the expense and the time."

She adds, "Having this clarity will help me push my brand forward over the coming months and years with something that feels genuine. Previously I had a logo. Now I have a brand. A brand that suits me and my properties and will flow through future projects."
